Process highlights
End-to-end activities across research, audits, and scalable design execution
Redesign Objectives
-
Make Transaction History and analytics snapshots easily discoverable
-
Deliver meaningful insights to empower budgeting decisions
-
Create strong hierarchy and contrast to simplify dense information
-
Surface reward program value at critical touchpoints
-
Encourage sustainable behavior through accessible visual prompts
-
Help customers reach support quickly, when needed
-
Design a scalable system ready for global expansion and localization

Global consistency,
local precision.
Every market expected familiarity, but local requirements around spending, receipt tracking, and rewards differed. Visual and motion systems had to balance universal rules with regional adaptations.

Illustrations for Guidance and System State Awareness
Illustrations were used to:
-
Support onboarding and complex permissions
-
Replace text-heavy empty states with guidance cues
-
Deliver educational nudges (e.g. sustainability callouts or reward tips)
Each asset was:
-
Localized in color
-
Documented for reuse in design system libraries

Reflection
Designing for BPme’s Transaction History wasn’t about cleaning up a feature. It was about re-architecting how users see, trust, and act on their own data.
It required building systems that scale clarity, not complexity and staying flexible enough to rescope or reframe the problem when needed.
